This week we had a group of over 40 beauticians from all over the Netherlands visiting our headquarters here in Aachen. After a few words of welcome and some refreshments, the group went for a tour through the laboratories of Dr. Sacher, where most of our products were created. There the participants learned, how a new cream is developed and what needs to be considered in the development of cosmetics. Our visitors were also given a tour through our warehouse and offices, before they left for lunch in the city center of Aachen, where the second half of their Janssen Cosmetics Day took place.
After the lunch in the restaurant Elisenbrunnen near the cathedral of Aachen (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978), the group moved to Forum M, an event venue nearby, where our skin care expert Hannelore Thoma demonstrated the seasonal treatment for the winter 2019/2020 “Golden Glow”.
Golden Glow is a pampering facial treatment consisting of the Golden Glow Peel Off Mask, Golden Glow Massage Gel and Golden Glow Serum (limited edition!), combined with products from our Mature Skin line.
Last, but not least, we also celebrated the 20 years of cooperation with our local partner in the Netherlands, the LOOkX Group and their founders Cindy Van der Peet and Bas van Duivenbooden. As a sign of our appreciation of this lasting, successful teamwork, we gave them a statue of Charlemagne, the emperor who is often characterized as the first European, as his empire covered much of the region today known as the EU.
Before our guests left, we showed them around the old city center of Aachen, and although the weather was not the best for a stroll, we hope that everybody enjoyed the day with us and took pleasant memories back home on the Janssen Cosmetics Day here in Aachen.
